In order to properly race cars in GT7 that come somewhat close to what the ITCC (as well as the considerable local branches like BTCC, JTCC, ETCC and DTM) felt like…

We have come up with a custom Balance of Performance. Here is the general outline of the BoP. Please refer to the detailed setup sheets for the car you wish to use, linked below.

  • Lobby settings:
    • 625 Performance Points
    • 1.100 kg Weight Minimum
    • 335 BHP maximum Power
    • Racing Hard Tires
    • Engine Swap prohibited
  • Tuning Shop
    • Every car has individual tuning parts required to apply our custom BoP. See the car’s individual page linked above.
    • Tuning parts can be acquired in the Tuning Shop and the setup is applied in the Car Settings Menu in the Garage.
    • For some reason it is not free of charge to undo weight reductions. A new body must be bought in the Tuning Shop (section Extreme)
    • For the same weird reason it is not free of charge to remove tuning parts within the engine. You will have to buy a new engine for this car in the Tuning Shop (section Extreme).
    • Reason for these expensive decisions: weight distribution and power / torque curves are altered by these parts. Use your own judgement to decide how far off your car is and how bad you would be cheating by compensating with a power restrictor or weight ballast.
    • Luckily other tuning parts can be bought but not applied to the car.
    • It is essential to also apply the following customization parts as they influence the aero settings in the Car Settings
  • Car Customisation (GT Auto)
    • For every available car there is a template in the GT7 showcase that should set all customization parts as they should be. Look for the tag #ALTCC
    • Engine swap: prohibited
    • Wide Body: all cars except the Alfa and the Nissan have wide body applied (in Car Maintenance and Service section of GT Auto)
    • Wheels: 17’ Rays Center Lock wheels must be used with Standard Rim Width and Wide Offset options
(availability exceptions apply for Alfa and Honda, see those cars’ individual page)
    • Each car has individual limitations which Custom Parts must or may not be applied. See your car’s individual page. Most cars have a splitter, some have a wing, most don’t have a Diffusor and so forth.
    • Every car is equipped with a Type C Roll Cage

Further Customizing your car

Only the following four settings may be changed.

  • Brake Balance – may be altered before the races or during the race
  • Front-/Rear Torque Distribution – may be altered before the races or during the race
  • The gearing of the Fully Customizable Racing Transmission may be altered before the races to fine tune to each track’s top speed.
  • Ride height may be increased (not decreased!) up to 10mm with respect to the values specified in the setup sheets in order to avoid the car bottoming out.

All other deviations from the BoP are considered cheating.
