Overview

The French hills are alive with the sound… of your underfloor hitting the ground. A beautiful, wide and fast-flowing Sainte-Croix track is the Gran Turismo’s recreation of the iconic Le Mans circuit. Key features are very similar – public roads mixed with permanent race track and speed, lots of speed. Today we are going to talk about the most important points that you need to know if you want to master a lap around the Sainte-Croix B Reverse circuit.

There is one difference that makes Sainte-Croix stand out in comparison to the other more famous French track – terrain. More specifically, track surface which plays a big part in how you need to approach many of the corners.

Your first interaction with the bumpy surface of this track will be through incredibly fast turns 2, 3 and 4. You want to stay flat out through this whole section, but the track will do everything to push your car beyond its grip limit.

For high-speed corners 5 and 7 you will find trail and engine braking very useful to point the car towards the exit of the corner as early as possible. The bumps of turn 9 pose the biggest danger to your car’s stability, so you’ll have to use every trick you know to keep the car going in the right direction.

And just as you thought that the most difficult and dangerous parts of Sainte-Croix B Reverse are behind, the last turn 14 creeps up on you with its deceiving track limits.

For the more in-depth guide on how to find pace around Sainte-Croix B Reverse we highly recommend to watch our dedicated Lap Guide video that you can find down below.
